April 11th is Ed Jr.'s first due date. The odds are stacked against him being born on Friday. First of all, the midwife's office is open. Second of all, fewer than 5% of babies are born on their due date. Third, it is a work day, and Ed Jr.' s mom really does not want to work any more.
The midwife is going skiing all weekend. Plus it is going to be REALLY nice this weekend (highs in the 70's). His daddy has all sorts of plans to get started on our first veggie garden and two of Ed Jr.'s aunties will be out of town. . .
If I was an odds maker, I would think that Sunday looks better than Friday for sure!

So if Ed Jr. has three due dates and the chances of him being born on his due date is 5% - does that mean that he has a 15% chance of being born on one of his due dates?
