Fairmont

Daddy took off for the weekend to set sail on the Smith only to be thwarted by 90 mile an hour winds and 3-6 foot snow drifts. He recovered by spending some time on the Madison and the Big Hole. The weather in Helena was crap so Nanny Boo Boo and I took Jr. to go swimming all weekend at Fairmont.
Jr. had a total blast. He swam and swam (sorry no photos) stayed the night in a hotel room, slept with his mommy, chatted with some goats and a llama and rode around on a luggage cart.

Pretty darn fun weekend if you ask me. He only suffered one head injury - he was on the phone with his dad and Erik when he fell off the chair and hit his head on a table. Ouchy! That wasn't anything like him hitting his head in the bathtub tonight during one of his "I want my shirt ON!" temper tantrums. His whole eyebrow is so swollen and purple. Ed and I crumbled a little inside.

He is so freaking cute right now too, minus the sad bumps and bruises.
The swimming was great for Jr, but was even better for me. It was amazing to be fully supported by the water. I am so f-ing huge right now everything is hard swimming was easy. I could have spent the rest of this pregnancy floating in that warm pool.
And hey, I know I am big, but that is for me to worry about and whine about to my friends, I do not need perfect strangers questioning my due date or asking if there is two babies in there. There is only one and yeah he is going to be big. Making it to mid July is going to be unbelievably impossible. Little Mr. Butternut Squash is sticking out of my belly higher on one side than the other, you can feel his butt and his back besides his little feet poking out and sticking me in the ribs.
While I wish every day that this pregnancy would be over, I need the extra time to get ready for the new little man. While we should have everything we need, we did lose some stuff in an unfortuante event involving my brother and his bad decisions about women. I put together a brief registry on Amazon.com, just search for our names. This is only *if* you are looking for ideas, there won't be any shower or anything like that.
